Great book

I liked the part where they thought the German submarine blew up. My favorite character was the boy Phillip because he was brave.

Pages falling out

My daughter is only 15 pages into this book and 2 pages have already fallen out. It is very cheaply made. I spent the extra money for the "better" version, so to say I am disappointed is an understatement.

A True American Classic

I remember reading this in the sixth grade and absolutely loving this book. It is a very touching story about survival, friendship and faith. I highly recommend this book.
